Health Officials distributed over 100,000 condoms throughout Olympic village before the official start of the Olympic games in Vancouver, Canada. This works out to roughly 14 condoms per athlete.

In comparison, during the Sydney summer Olympics on 2000, health officials distributed 70,000, falling short by 20,000 in the end.

With so much testosterone flying around the village, enhanced by the awe of adoring fans, it is any wonder these athletes even make it to their events on time. One athlete even went as far as saying, "I spent so much time in a state of lust that I could have passed out." And with the Canadians taking more gold than any other nation in the history of the Olympic games, there is enough bling floating around the village to get even the saddest of athletes a tug under the bleachers.

The true test will come 9 months from now, when the results of the late night parties will be felt in hospitals world wide. Screaming babies will be a sure sign that either there was not enough condoms in the village, or the quality of those condoms simply did not measure up.
